Introduce your class to one of the most in-demand fields in today’s job market – Amazon Web Services (AWS). In our workshop we will introduce your class to AWS Educate and AWS Skillbuilder. 

AWS Educate

The AWS Educate platform provides students and educators with access to AWS services and content to help build cloud computing skills. We will spend some time to explore the available courses, hands-on labs, and other resources to provide your class a good understanding of the resources available.

AWS Skillbuilder

The AWS Skillbuilder platform, provides self-paced digital training courses on a variety of AWS services and solutions. These courses can be a great way to build practical skills in areas like cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and machine learning. We will spend some time browsing the course catalog to see what’s available.

Snapchat

Introduce the class to AR development component by creating custom filters for Snapchat. In this workshop, we will be using Lens Studio, Snap’s free AR creation tool. We will get acquainted with the platform’s features and workflow to build AR experiences using this powerful tool.

To begin, students will need a Snapchat account (and know their login information) and Lens Studio downloaded (it’s free!).
